OUR Mission
Our mission is to witness a decrease in juvenile delinquency in the surrounding communities by incubating an affinity for education. Increase math and reading skills for all children in the Mecklenburg county school system while reducing the drop-out rate, reinforce academic achievement; promote personal development and healthy lifestyles.

 

OUR Vision
Our vision is to create a nurturing, stable, and culturally diverse family environment which encourages youth and at-risk youth with emotional and behavioral disturbances to become effective, contributing adults. To better the quality of life of youth and at-risk youth who live in Mecklenburg and surrounding communities. Develop academic skills, behaviors, and attitudes in academically motivated.
To help school students achieve academic excellence and community leadership in order to prepare them for high school and college, through having a set curriculum of cultural enrichment, tutoring, academic advising by improving grades and attendance. Cultivating relationships between the youth and volunteer adult mentors, developing literacy and technology skills, and become connected to opportunities such as internships, externships, and scholarship programs for high school students.

At Hopes and Dreams children and youth can be themselves. Encourage and empower youth to become leaders and not followers while learning that education is the key to their success.

We work together with families and volunteers in each community, in partnership with government and other organizations, to create healthy community solutions to providing children and youth with what they need for

optimal development.
